During the morning conversation with Maina and King'ang'i had a discussion on what they would do if they were president Ruto, following the Maandamano Monday and Thursday declared by opposition leader, Raila Odinga.

Mwalimu King'ang'i stated that if it were him the pressure would be intense and he would need a lot of strength and wisdom to steer the country in the right direction.

"Do you know if you were the president ile pressure utakuwa nayo, you need a lot of strength and wisdom," Mwalimu King'ang'i said.

Maina then stated that the world is facing a high cost of living and people are tired of the demonstrations. He then went on to ask his audience what they would do if they were president today to counter the protests.

"I know we are tired of this demonstration's but do we also recognize that world food prices are high. If you were president of Kenya today and the call is yours what would you do , following the demonstrations?" Maina asked.

A caller stated that he would call the opposition leader and request that the current cabinet be dissolved and divided into two to accommodate both parties.

Caller:  Ningeita huyo mzee na ni redecide Cabinet. Nichukue half yeye hachukwe half, agawe ministries. Nusu mkate is the way to go.

Another caller stated that no negotiations should take place between the government and the opposition referring to the 2017 handshake between then President Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila which left the country in an offbeat state.

Caller: I don't think they're should be any negotiations between Raila and Ruto. Kaende Kaende  the last time we had an hand shake the country was left in a state of bizarre.

A different caller said that he would open the August 2022 general election servers to prove the opposition leader wrong because he believes he won the election fairly and squarely.

He also disclosed that he would reduce the price of maize flour to KSh 120/- and reduce the number of Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) positions to 23, and that by doing so, he would have captured the people's love thereby making him president until 2027.

Caller : Niite president bob, ningekuwa Rais ningeaangalia zile vitu zinaweza leta Imani. Ningefungua server juu najua nilishinda tu prove Raila wrong. Ya pili nitajaribu tu nilete bei ya unga irudi KSh; 120 na the posts ya CAS ningerudisha to 23 people na hapo mambo ingetulia na ningekuwa Rais hadi 2027.

Check out what people had to say on social media:

Daniel Ominde It's funny how people who can't run their own houses imagine than running a country is an easy gig. Let's give the government of the day some wiggle room to get their act in order. We all know we are a net importer of commodities we consume...

Moses young If i was president William ruto i would call raila and agree on his demands for the shake of kenyans business hii maandamano is bring loses for Kenya economy.

Rozieblacks Talk to Kenyans and opposition and agree to reduce tension in the country. Kenya is bigger than two individuals.

Jeff Alcapone  Ashikwe ama they talk….. We will reach 2027 when he’s still telling Ruto to open the IEBC servers of the 2022 elections. We will go into the 2027 elections, and he will lose again & the cycle continues

kibe I would deal first with this nonsense of mandamano . Let him not entertain handshake we need opposition to play their role as watch dog, so as this doesn't repeat after every election
