During the morning conversation, Maina and King'ang'i discussed why Kenyan men find it difficult to reclaim their ex-wives.
This was prompted by a story that went viral online about a woman, Agnes Shigori, who left her husband and moved on to another relationship only to return three years later.
Maina wondered why Kenyan men are so much difficulty in forgiving and reconciling with their wives after a long-term argument whereas if it were them they would want their wives to forgive and take them back.
"Why is it that Kenyan men don't take women back? Yet you expect your wife to take you back?" Maina asked.
Mwalimu King'ang'i couldn't fathom a woman going missing for three years as he wondered if she was with another man.
If she did return, he stated that things would never be the same.
"Ati umesemaje alifanyanyaje for three years, acha kucompare na wanaume alkuwa ameenda wapi? She will never be the same kumangamanga na wanaume wengine?" Mwalimu King'ang'i said.
Maina then asked his listeners why it is hard to take back their women.
"Fellas, why is it so hard to take back your woman?" Maina asked.
In response, a caller wondered where the wife had been for the previous three years.
He stated that he would not allow a man to have fun with his wife for three years and then take her back.
He asked Maina whether he would lend him his BMW for even seven months.
Caller: Now you're telling me someone goes for 3 years and comes back. Where were you? What were you doing? Why should someone take my wife for 3 years alafu arudishe? Maina, can you give me the BMW that you just bought recently nitumie for three years?
King'ang'i responded by saying that Maina would be unable to lend him the car.
King'ang'i: Haweziiii
The caller then challenged Maina saying that if he couldn't lend him his car why would he let another man have his wife for a while and then take her back?

Maina was taken aback by how he could make such a comparison.
Maina: How do you make that comparison?
