Would you be with a man who has maneno matamu with no money? Mike Mondo

During the morning show, Mike Mondo raised the topic of women going for men with money only.

He wondered why nowadays pick-up lines and sweet words from men do not impress ladies.

He asked his listeners, ''What happened to women falling for bad boys with sweet words? Siku hizi unaweza kuwa hauna sura mzuri, unanuka jasho but if you have money you can get any woman that you want.''

Mike talked about how nowadays getting a girl is not the same as before - saying ladies prefer money to being told sweet words.

He added that even when a man is good in everything without money, he will hardly get a woman.

Whereas if a man might be ugly or does not say sweet words, but with money he can bag any girl he wants.

Mike questioned, ''Has money replaced those 'mistaris' for back in the day? Would you be with a man who has 'maneno matamu', makes you smile but doesn't have money?''

''Apparently, before money became everything good girls used to fall for bad boys because they were bold na mistari zilikuwa on point,'' Mike added.

Here is what the listeners had to say,

Bella Ndichu 'Maneno matamu' used to be very important back in the day UNTIL those words became empty. Empty promises lie. Kitambo people meant it, from their hearts but nowadays it's just a form of deception, luring someone into a trap, the genesis of hit and run.

Janet Jayna Money has replaced "sweet nothings" because you realise that they all cheat alafu unaenda kwa pesa una realize pesa atakupea na material things but time yake iko kwa "love of his life!" this life has no balance
