Nominated senator Karen Nyamu was upset after a fan asked her about the whereabouts of the father of her two young children, singer Samuel Muchoki aka Samidoh.

This was after Nyamu had posted a photo of herself at a public hearing on Monday and attached a motivational message.

"YOUR JOURNEY WILL NOT BE THE SAME AS ANYONE ELSE'S. SO DON'T LET THE WORLD TELL YOU HOW IT SHOULD LOOK. NO ONE EVER STEPS OUT BEING LIKE THEM ALL!" he wrote under the photo that he published on his Instagram page.

Although several netizens agreed with the message and appreciated it, as is the case, there were some comments written by some of them that the mother of three did not like.

A fan noticed that Samidoh was not in the picture and asked her if she left him to look after the children.

"Didn't you go with your 'handbag' or is he taking care of the kidsπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚," an Instagram cheekily user asked Ms. Nyamu.

The politician wasn't playing around with the fan and released the troll hammer writing back, "A baby seat and then you sing or?"

About two weeks ago, Karen Nyamu and Samidoh were seen together at the funeral of the sister-in-law of the deputy president Rigathi Gachagua, Nancy Muthoni in Gatanga, Murang'a county.

After the funeral, Ms. Nyamu posted several photos of the event on her various social media pages.

Among the photos he posted is one of her fellow parent Samidoh giving his speech at the event and another showing them sitting close and seeming to enjoy time together.

A day later, Samidoh's wife, Edday Nderitu warned the singer that she was not ready to raise their children in a polygamous marriage.

Through a painful statement on her Facebook page, the mother of three criticized the nominated senator describing her as an immoral person who does not respect her family.

"I have asked God every day to give me the strength to pray for you but today I have nothing to say to God about you, you have dragged me and put me and my children in a sea of pain so you can remember this," Edday wrote to Samidoh.

Edday claimed that her husband's co-parent, Karen Nyamu, is ten years older than her, another reason why she refused to be her co-wife.
