Longtime Bongo Flava artist, Ommy Dimpoz, has announced giving his colleague Marioo a gift of 5 million Tanzanian shillings after successfully being the first person to make veteran actress Frida Kajala Masanja transition from being a mother to a grandmother.
Speaking during Marioo and Paula's pregnancy celebration event, Dimpoz, who was one of the invited guests at last weekend's event, congratulated Marioo for impregnating Paula, stating that this directly makes Kajala a grandmother to their expected child.
Dimpoz said that Marioo is the first young man to dare to make Kajala expect a grandchild soon.
"But also, Mr. Omari [Marioo], I praise you so much, you know. You're a real deal, because you're the first Tanzanian to make Kajala be called a grandmother.
It's not a joke, you know. Besides that, you've also made P Funk Majani be called a grandfather. That's how it's been, a blessed thing. Due to what you did, to make Kajala be called a grandmother, I'm giving you a gift of 5 million," Ommy Dimpoz said.
Marioo and Paula have been in a relationship for nearly a year, and a few days ago, they revealed that they are expecting their first child together.
Marioo started dating Paula after the beauty ended her relationship with the artist Rayvanny.
It was reported that Marioo had already prepared a bride price of 100 million Tanzanian shillings.
