Classic 105 presenter Maina Kageni wants Kenyan youths to prove that they are capable of holding a sober conversation.

This follows a planned engagement with President William Ruto through the X platforms Space, on Friday.

In his advice, Kageni said youths must ask hard and important questions because they must get answers.

"I know it has the potential to get messy, but you can prove to the world that you're capable of a sober interaction. Ask any question, ask the hard, important ones because it's absolutely necessary that you get your answers," he said.

Kageni went on to say that they must make their demands known and must not leave anything out in their talks with the President.

They urged the young generation to also ask for timelines for all they would have agreed on.

The radio presenter said they have a chance to make this Friday memorable.

"Cover every area, don't leave anything out. Make your demands known and make sure that you get measurable assurances with timeliness on delivery. Make tomorrow one to remember," Kageni said.

He also asked young people to respect the office Ruto holds even if they may not like him as a person.

"Because one day, one of you will sit in it."

Ruto will Friday host his inaugural X-Space Conversation with the youth of Kenya.

The Cabinet is scheduled to join the Head of State as he hosts the Space.

“All Kenyans are welcome to contribute to this dialogue as part of our collective effort to foster national renewal and create a better Kenya for all,” a despatch from the Cabinet Office, Executive Office of the President said.

In a statement shared by the State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohammed, the President will engage the youths on the issues raised.

The X Space will take place from 2 pm to 5 pm.
