Politics in Kenya is a game for the strong-hearted and to some, it is a passion despite their ages.

Here are some young Kenyan politicians who made headlines this year:

Sakaja Johnson

Known as Mr. dimples by the majority of Kenyan women, Sakaja got his fame this year during his campaign.

When he got his aspired seat as the Nairobi governor he changed and implemented a lot in the city and made headlines on the internet.

These are such as the introduction of the first Nairobi Festival which ran from 12th December to  the 17th in 2022.

Peter Salasya

Mumias East Mp. Peter Salasya made headlines in 2022 as one of Kenya's fresh and young politicians.

He particularly made was in spot when he went on a search for a partner in October.

"I am just looking for a very prayerful woman, a very young girl, focused girl, supportive girl, presentable and must be able to speak to the people in the countryside. Are you willing to join me as we go look for votes?"

His quest was responded to by a lot of women including Manzi wa Kibera who was dissed outrightly for her 'inappropriate" dressing.

Karen Nyamu

The controversial High court advocate made headlines this year from her involvement with Kikuyu secular singer  Samidoh and getting nomitated for Senatorial seat for UDA.

In a recent altercation in December, the mother of one ended her relationship with Samidoh after causing drama at his  Dubai concert.

The drama involved the singer with his two baby mamas who have always competed for his attention.

Linet Toto

The 27 year-od female celebrity got her fame early this year 

The 24 year old opened up about her grass to grace story after being elected in a historic moment in the recent August polls.

She said she used 100k to campaign for the seat. She studied at Chuka University and credited her never give up attitude to her new job.
