Today morning, Maina and King'ang'i discussed why and how men budget on a woman's money.

Maina advised men not to marry someone's daughter if they did not have money to support the family.

"You don't have the money to marry someone's daughter just leave her alone. How do you budget on a woman's money?" Maina asked.

Mwalimu King'ang'i, on the other hand, emphasized the importance of women contributing to the well-being of their families. King'ang'i also described how Covid had affected many family heads, resulting in their wives chipping in financially.

"Kama akona pesa unajua ile kitu ilitufanyikia wakati wa Covid lazima women they chip in," King'ang'i said.

"Unamsaidia kwa nini?" Maina asked the morning conversation listeners.

Caller: Good morning, I want to give men a very practical concept. Money is to a man, beauty is to a woman. Wanaume wajitume, watoke nje na wafanye kazi. Mwanaume ni kukaa ngumu."

Another female caller aired out that her and her husband cost share their expenses.

Maina Kageni: Wewe unamsaidia aje kwa nyumba yako?

Caller: Nalipa rent, food  na yeye analipa school fees ya watoto.

Another caller expressed how not letting his husband play his role has made her suffer in marriage.

Caller: Good morning Maina, I  used to pay rent, school fees for my children and do other things like buying food and clothes for my children. I didn't realize that a was making my husband lazy I suffered enough in that marriage na mimi nilijichuna masikio.
