The year 2023 is almost over, there are only a few days left for us to welcome the new year 2024.

As the year draws to a close, not only is the year ending, but it has also been the end of many marriages and relationships.

One of the major breakups that surprised the nation is that of singer Akothee and her husband Denis 'Omosh' Schweizer whose marriage hit rock bottom just two months after their wedding.

The two were dating for a while before getting married in April and then broke up in June.

Singer Vera Sidika and co-parent Brown Mauzo are another couple who surprised the nation by separating after two years of dating.

The two broke up just a few months after the birth of their second child, Ice Brown.
