Zari gets married to younger bae (video)

Ugandan Socialite Zari Hassan and her Boyfriend Shakib Cham Lutaaya held a private Islamic wedding known as a Nikkah ceremony.

The wedding was a surprise to many and it is said it took place in South Africa with only a handful of people invited for the nuptials.

In a video shared online, family and friends look on as Shakib places a ring on her finger as she lovingly looks on.    

Ugandan blog Exclusive Bizz, Shakib places a ring on her left hand, while kneeling down in front of the socialite. They are both wearing traditional regalia and Zari hugs him.

They seal the moment with a kiss. There is also an official family photo moment outside a residence where a man is heard shouting joyfully.

(The ceremony called Nikkah is taken as an official marriage. A Nikkah, in Islam, is a contract between a Husband and Wife and forms part of one of the stages in an Islamic marriage.

The Nikkah will involve the Husband and Wife signing a contract, which will be witnessed by the Wife's Father or another male family member and a male from the Husband's family.)

The couple later had dinner as a married couple and fist bump to their future life.

Zari is yet to share the ceremony on her social media pages, but it appears Uganda blogs have videos of her selfies minutes after the ceremony where he also kisses her on the head.
