The journalist, who was a member of the media house, officially left TV47 on Tuesday, April 30.

During his last day, employees working at the company were concerned about whether this was a sign that the company, which had been struggling with hiring, would downsize.

"Yesterday was hard enough watching all your confused and worried faces, but here we are," he commented on the current situation at TV47.

"I will genuinely miss all of you, we were starting to find calmness, flow, and working together has been the honor of my life."

He reassured his former colleagues that no one should tell them they don't deserve to be in their current positions.

As TV47 tries to assert its presence in mainstream media, Raburu said he believed the current team was capable of growing and performing well in the future that is being sought.

"If we can go to bed at night knowing we tried, then we have done the best we can for that day," his farewell message read in part.

Although he did not announce his next step, Raburu told his former colleagues that he expected to see them in the news industry.
