Zuchu's mother reveals qualities she looking for in her next man, warns Ben 10s

Legendary taarab singer and mother to Tanzanian songstress Zuchu, Khadija Kopa has revealed that she is still single and searching 11 years after her late husband's passing on.

The artist got candid about her type in men and why she was still single all these years despite her personal desire to remarry and settle down. 

According to Mama Zu, there is no scarcity of men making their advances and trying to shoot their shots at her. The only problem is that they are really young men (as compared to her age) and that is ideally not her type.

“Wanatokezea lakini sitaki vijana. Mungu hajanijalia kupata wanaume watu wazima, sijui kwa nini,"

This loosely translates to;

"Yes, they are there. They keep on coming but I don’t want young boys. God has not yet granted me the will or opportunity to find a mature man and I don't understand why," the talented veteran Taraab musician said voicing out her woes during an interactive interview she had with Diamond's Wasafi Media.

 Khadija Kopa went on to highlight her preference for men, voicing that she wants mature companions as these younger suitors making advances at her don't check on her bucket list.

Her ideal age of a partner you ask? Zuchu's mom made it clear that she wanted a man aged 50 years and above. This is mainly because she believes older men are more mature and they have experience with life. 

“Nawaambia wewe ni mtoto mdogo kwangu. Haufai kwangu mimi, katafute kijana mwenzio….Sina muda huo.

(Whenever they hit on me, I simply just tell them they are young kids compared to me, and they don’t deserve me.

I advise them to go out there and look for other young people like themselves for companionship. I don’t have time for that)," the artist candidly said. 

Khadija Kopa's late husband, Jaffary Ally, passed away back in 2013 after a brief illness, she has always spoken so fondly of him and on several occasions eulogized his memory during her stage shows.
