Cabinet Secretary for Youth Affairs, Creative Economy, Sports and the Arts, and international lawyer Ababu Terrah Namwamba has delighted netizens after he shared his top most listened-to songs of 2023.
Through a post on his Instagram page, the father of 4 shared a screen grab of a list of 20 songs that kept him entertained through the year with his top 3 songs being 'Mwaki' by Zerb and Sofiya Nzau, 'My Cherie' by Sauti Sol's Bien-Amie Alusa and 'Miondoko' by Rico Gang and Mbuzi Gang.
Ababu's list also included a few gospel songs and interestingly reggae as well. With zero Nigerian, Tanzanian, or international mainstream songs.
Captioning the post which read, "2023 CS playlist," the politician who turned 49 just 5 days ago went on to gush over his love for music and how important the art was.
"Harmony in every note, rhythm in every heartbeat. 🎶Music: the universal language that speaks to the soul, shaping emotions and creating connections that resonate beyond words.@t.r.i.b.e_kenya #Power Of Music #Notes That Speak #ATN," the politician poetically wrote.
His top songs excited netizens especially since they were mostly Kenyan with gengetone vibes to be exact.
