Why you should not announce your success to everyone

Mwalim  King'ang'i is asking people to stop announcing their success to other people.

Mike Mondo on the other hand said on The Morning Conversation that he didn't mind posting things he has achieved or those he is working on.

Mwalimu King'ang'i said : "There are things you keep to yourself. Wait until you fulfil them then make the announcement. What are these things you should not share with people online or with friends?"

Mike Mondo's said he will be posting his daughter's graduation photos as she is going to grade 1. 

However, listeners who participated in the conversation had mixed reactions about the whole topic.

A caller said "Even my family members I can't tell them. You never know someone is staying up all night to pray against you."

Silvia Kibet added "Why should I save and struggle to make a good life and then not show it? When I build a house, I will flaunt it."
