Mystery as dead foreigner found with 78 pieces of ivory

The body was moved to Chiromo mortuary pending an autopsy

The death of a 58-year-old foreigner in his Nairobi residence is being investigated by police.

According to reports, the man passed away on Wednesday night at his home in Sunshine Court in the Lavington Estate neighborhood of Nairobi.

The Muthangari police station received a report about the event. According to the police, two of the deceased's neighbors called the station to report the event.

They are all Sunshine Court inhabitants that live in the Lavington Valley Arcade neighborhood on Mbaazi Road. A dead body was discovered on the bed by responding police officers.

The home's contents included two phones, a printer, 78 pieces of elephant ivory, three sets of communication devices, two sets of stamps, two rhino horns, and two sets of stamps.

65 pieces of lion teeth, 165 pieces of lion craws, two pieces of ivory sculptures, and an unidentified animal's skin were among the additional objects found during the hunt.

Prior to an autopsy, the body was transferred to Chiromo mortuary. Detectives from the Dagoretti Subcounty examined the scene.
