List of celebrities who have voiced their opinion on the Finance Bill 2024

Over the recent times, the Finance Bill 2024 has been on the trend since the time the government announced its proposal.

Finance Bill, 2024 which proposes a wide array of tax and administrative measures affecting different tax laws has not been the cup of tea for Kenyans.

The majority of Kenyans have not been siding with the government's decision of the Finance Bill as they think that it harasses the common 'mwananchi'.

Kenyan celebrities and influencers have been sharing their thoughts on Kenyans regarding the finance bill.

We shall look at what some of them had to say;

Sharon Arwa

Content creator Shornarwa posted on her Instagram story urging kenyans to educate themselves on the Finance Bill matter.

''In all seriousness please educate yourselves about the finance bill 2024,'' she said.

She also said that she is in support of rejecting the finance bill. Adding to this she requested Kenyan influencers to use their platform and spread awareness about the finance bill to their followers.

Willy Paul

Musician Willy Paul took to his Instagram also requesting Kenyans to read about the finance bill 2024.

''Guys please go read the 2024 finance bill. Sisi kwisha!''

He also criticized celebrities who are not supporting kenyans in opposing the finance bill, ''Hamwezi tetea mafans wananunua mziki yenu. Watatoa wapi pesa ya kustream?''

Betty Kyalo 

Media personality Betty Kyalo also rejected the finance bill by posting on her Instagram saying, ''A big NO to the Finance Bill 2024.''

She also said emotionally how as Kenyans they are suffering economically having closed down businesses.

''We need support from our government not torment,'' she said.

Maandy 

Musician Maandy is also among the celebrities who showed their concerns on the finance bill.

she posted on her Instagram story psyching Kenyans to contact their area MPs and ask they reject the finance bill.

Khalif Kairo

Famous entrepreneur  and pilot Kairo posted on his X account about his opinion on rejecting the Finance Billn 2024.

"Anyway, they pass that bill as it is. I have officially given up on this country. Nothing will change if I leave, Lakini I wanna start a family in a system that actually values tax payers. Wacha tukujange holiday Kenia," he said.
