Earlier this week, Quiver Club was rocked with controversy after an emotional video of a lady lamenting about a certain manager at the club went viral.
Nominated Senator Gloria Orwoba on Thursday, June 6 provided an update on the whole saga.
In the viral video, she was crying and in pain, lamenting about the said manager taking advantage of female workers.
''How do you make people's lives miserable because they have refused to sleep with you?'' she said.
She alleged that the manager had been preying on female staff with promises of promotions with threats to sack those who declined his advances.
Due to these allegations, the club has allegedly suspended the manager accused of sexual harassment of female staff at the club's Kitengela branch.
"It has been a disturbing occurrence to us. So far, we are investigating that issue. As it is, the said manager has been suspended pending investigations," he stated.
Quiver Lounge's proprietor said all female stewards who had been fired by the manager under unclear circumstances have been summoned back to work.
"We have also invited the law enforcement authorities to ensure that should there be any such incidents, then the perpetrators are brought to book," added the staff member.
Further investigations into the matter have commenced.
