Singer Bensoul has revealed that he is only a few days away from leaving Sol Generation.

"It's my last last kind of days I’m Sol Generation because our contract is about to end"

In an interview with Tuko Extra, he compared his departure to a lion nursing its young cubs and letting them go to fend for themselves once it is old enough.

In the jungle, some cubs survive and others do not.

"I’m the jungle a male cub akifika a certain age wanafukuzwangwa from the pride wanaambiwa Sasa enda ujitafutie so wanafukuzwanga wakiwa wengi, wengine wanamake it na wengine wanakufa in the wilderness."

He speaks favorably of how they have built an empire clarifying that his departure doesn't indicate that he has animosity toward the legendary band Sautisol.

The singer without regret states how he will have made room for other young talented artists.

"It’s a beautiful thing manze tumekuwa na wao tumebuild such a beautiful empire and it’s so amazing that most of the artists watakuwa wanacome up watakuwa na space ya kuingia Sol Generation tukitoka. Kwanza this youngings manze kuna so many talented guys naeza taka wapate opportunity."

Sol Generation is a record label founded by Sautisol (Bien Alusa Baraza, Savara Mudigi, Willis Chimano, and Polycarp Otieno) it aims at developing and promoting iconic live acts by writing soundtracks to your lives.

Bensoul also acknowledged how Sol Generation helped him develop his career, and learn and secure the best gigs and endorsements thanks to the record label's considerable influence.

Hence, putting him in a place where he can demonstrate his accomplishments independently.

"Sol generation iko na muscle, you’ll get the best gig, endorsements and knowledge in terms of music production. Now I'm in a position that I need to be independent na nionyeshe ile empire nimekuwa nikibuild,".

Bensoul is set to release an album titled "The Lion of Suda" on April 20, 2023.
