Akothee: Get ready for Mr. and Mrs. Wedding!

Singer and entrepreneur Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, has sparked a debate after sharing a photo of herself with her manager Nelly Oaks, and accompanying it with a cryptic message.

In the post she shared on Facebook on Monday evening, the 43-year-old artist urged her fans to get ready and start getting used to Mr. and Mrs. Wedding.

She also announced April 27, 2024, as a special day hinting that there is an event that will take place in Mombasa.

"Get used to Mr. and Mrs. Wedding early. Sew your kitenge, who's hesitating. Let's meet on April 27, 2024, at the Nyali Golf Club, County," Akothee announced.

The announcement elicited mixed feelings from hundreds of her fans who felt she might be hinting at getting married to her manager Nelly Oaks.

However, the artist may just be announcing the Akothee Foundation Charity Golf Tournament scheduled to take place in Mombasa on April 27.

For a long time, Akothee and Nelly Oaks have been believed to be more than just work partners. They have often hinted at being lovers.

About four months ago, the mother of five appeared to confirm the revival of her relationship with her longtime manager Nelly Oaks in a live session on the TikTok platform.

During the session where she addressed her fans while Nelly Oaks prepared a special meal in the kitchen, Akothee was heard calling her manager 'babe' several times, a term commonly used among lovers.

Nelly Oaks also referred to Akothee as someone special to him as they shared intimate moments on camera.
