Renowned Kenyan singer and entrepreneur Esther Akoth, popularly known as Akothee, defied the directive of her youngest child's white father, Baba Oyoo, who advised her against cooking omena at his home.

The mother of five is currently in France visiting her two young sons, Prince Ojwang (Alphonse) and Prince Oyoo (Dominic), who live with Baba Oyoo.

On Saturday, she shared a video from her kitchen while cooking ugali (maize meal) and omena, revealing that she had been cautioned against doing so.

"I'm told not to cook omena; it will stink up the house. I will cook omena. I brought my luggage from Kenya, and omena is part of it," Akothee said in the video while displaying the omena she was preparing in a pot.

She continued to complain about her white baby daddy and their son Oyoo, who complained about the smell of the small fish she was cooking.

"Baba Oyoo, call the police. They say Oyoo is closing his nose; the house stinks. Do you think you can torment me here in Europe? Even Royco is here," she said, showing a container of Royco (a seasoning) she had brought from Kenya.

She added, "I will cook omena, then I will cook ugali and eat. Then, I will go lock myself in the room. I'll leave the omena stinking there in the kitchen, and I'm gone. It's baby mama issues."

Akothee revealed that she was instructed to cook eggs instead of omena, but she defied, complaining that they eat too many eggs there.

In the kitchen, the 43-year-old singer invited her younger son, Oyoo, for questions before the boy complained about the smoke in the room.

Akothee was seen singing and dancing with her two children in the kitchen, showing them some dance moves.

Despite complaining about the smell, Akothee served her sons ugali and omena, and the younger Oyoo even asked for more ugali.

"Didn't Jaduong' say his children won't eat omena? Now they are carrying big ugali, and they've gone to eat omena. Their father is not around; he has gone upstairs, saying it stinks and is making noise," Akothee said.
