Veteran gospel singer Owen Mwatia popularly known as Daddy Owen has revealed why he is yet to get into another marriage, almost three years after his first marriage broke up.
Speaking in an interview with Shaffie Weru, the musician noted that finding love is not a problem for him.
Owen made it clear that he decided to focus on himself after going his separate ways with his ex-wife, Farida Wambui.
"I said I should go, work on myself, change some things, and then other things will follow," he said. Rufftone singer's brother noted that he is a celebrity and is often seduced by women.
Owen revealed that there are many women who send him sweet messages of love aiming to date him while others send him their naked pictures with the intention of seducing him.
"Let's get used to it, there are many. First, I block them immediately," he said. The 41-year-old singer revealed that women tried to seduce him after his marriage broke up in 2020.
He said he received many messages especially on Instagram. In an interview with Plug TV last year, the talented musician hinted that he has already forgiven his ex-wife, Farida Wambui following their separation about three years ago.
Owen however made it clear that since then he has moved on with his life and hinted that it is not easy for them to get back together.
"I am a person who if something happens, I forgive you but I move on. I will move on, but if I forgive, I will forgive," he said.
In the interview, the gospel artist made it clear that he is busy with different things and so he has not had time to focus on finding a solution to his dispute with his ex-wife, Mrs. Wambui.
He also denied claims that he is under pressure to find a wife and made it clear that he is not even looking for a fiancé at the moment.
"I am a man, I cannot announce that I am looking for a woman. If I want a woman, I will find her. I am a lion, I will go hunting and find the one I want," he said.
Owen emphasized that the main thing he will be considering in a woman when he is in the search is a God-fearing character.
He also noted that it is a condition that his future wife must have been brought up in the village.
