' I support the government's fight against alcoholism' - Mwalimu King'ang'i

Classic 105  radio presenter Maina Kageni and Mwalimu Kingangi  today had an interesting topic based on alcohol and its effect on the youth.

"Back in the day there was an advert by EABL on drinking after work.

Nowadays people keep saying 'wanatoa lock'

Have you ever seen someone drinking, if they breath you would light a match stick moto iwake.

What are people drinking?' Questioned Mwalimu

@KongelukMaxwell: Worse still is the fact that people drink to help them forget about their troubles. Someone drinks because they are through a tough financial struggle. Thereafter, they realise they are in a greater trouble, they have little or nothing for the basic needs.

@joespat99: It's so worrying to hear about 8year olds buying alcohol from liquor joints but in that regard just heard the drunk madam who's called and takes full pride in saying that she's already sipped some alcohol this early..so basically parents ought to set an example for their kids.

@Ted_Izoe:  This alcohol problem is an issue that needs to be given attention. The younger generation have been trapped in this vise. I don't know who lied to them that alcohol reduces them. It piles them up instead. #MainaAndKingani @Classic105Kenya

@Tuti02265351: Irony is we use alcohol to douse problems which have been caused by alcohol.

@KongelukMaxwell: It's worrying that people have become alcohol dependent. It's so serious that they can't concentrate on any task bila kukamata kachupa.

@simonianmwangi1: it's a choice that some people have made, lack of self-discipline how do you drink in the morning and go to work, Leo asubuhi nimepatana with two guys in the lift smelling like trash and they are going to work.

@gashogoooo: As we are talking right now nimecjujwa kazini coz i went nikinuka pombe All coz wife messed me up nikamuondokea n went to drink I hate myself so much right now.
