Former NTV Swahili News Anchor Jane Ngoiri lands new State job

The HIV and AIDS tribunal will be under the leadership of Carolyne Mboku

Former NTV Swahili news anchor Jane Ngoiri  has been  appointed as a member of the HIV and AIDS Tribunal.

The appointed was done  by Attorney General Justin Muturi. In a gazette notice released on March 10, 2023 Ngoiri will serve in a seven-member Tribunal.

The HIV and AIDS Tribunal will be chaired by Carolyne while Nelson Wanyonyi Osiemo, Brian Ouko Yego, Dr Irene Njahira Mukui, Prof Walter Godfrey Jaoko and Dr Solomon Musani will serve as members.

The tribunal's responsibility is to hear and decide on complaints involving the Acts's violation.

''HIV AND AIDS TRIBUNALAPPOINTMENT IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by section 25 (1) of the HIV and AIDS Prevention and Control Act, the Attorney-General appoints..'' read part of the notice.

As president Ruto makes new appointments , former Lamu Senator Anwar Oloitiptip, has also been appointed as a board member of the Lapsset Corridor Development Authority.
