I'm happy to be a mother-in-law while still young - Christina Shusho

Gospel singer Christina Shusho was present in the studio today for a blissful interview with Mike Mondo.

She discussed her daughter's recent big wedding, expressing her excitement and gratitude for being a mother-in-law to someone.

''It feels so good kwamba nakua mama mkwe at this young age,'' she said excitedly bragging how she still has the energy to be a grandmother. Maybe soon nitakua grandma," she said.

She was asked whether she got involved in her daughter's wedding planning as a parent and she replied;

''Yes of course. I wanted something private and even told them. I have many friends like you, Mwalimu, and Maina who I could have told but I wanted something private,'' Shusho answered.

She explained that she planned the wedding with minimum guest invitees as she just wanted something private.

She added that they wanted something that would be memorable to her daughter and her husband, ''Hizo vitu zingine tutafanya baadae. Tulitaka kitu ambayop itamwachia kijana na binti wapate picha nzuri wasisahau katika maisha yao.''

''The event was about kuwapongeza kwamba they have done something good.''

Christina also said that as a parent when they planned the wedding, she was involved so that the children would feel that they have supportive parents.

Her daughters wedding sparked the internet after Shusho posted on her social media page with netizens congratulating them for it.
