Larry Madowo, CNN International Correspondent and host of the African Voices Changemakers and Playmakers program, jokingly claimed that even his own sister has started teasing him by calling him a fifty-year-old.

Through his Facebook, Madowo uploaded a screenshot of a message he received from Liz, whom he claimed to be his sister.

The greeting message read, "How are you, old man of fifty," ending with a crying emoji and another laughing one.

Madowo seemed taken aback by the unexpected message from his sister, stating;

"My sister is even teasing me now," he concluded with a laughing emoji.

According to Madowo's personal information publicly available, the former NTV Kenya journalist is 36 years old.

Previously, he was the BBC North America Correspondent and also anchored significant news and presented BBC World News America from Washington, DC.

Despite many significant achievements in the journalism industry, Madowo is said to still be single.

In the past 24 hours, the CNN presenter has been engaging in a back-and-forth with the Minister of Roads and Infrastructure, Kipchumba Murkomen, regarding the poor conditions of the roofs of buildings at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

Madowo uploaded a video showing the leaking roofs, which Murkomen deemed inappropriate, claiming that Madowo is misusing his international popularity.

The minister advised Madowo to also try to see the good things that the Kenyan government has done to showcase them internationally, stating that continually exposing only the negatives tarnishes the country's image globally.
