The race for the English Premier League trophy continues to intensify as two teams, Arsenal and Manchester City, currently appear to be the frontrunners to win this year's title.

Liverpool is also in contention for the trophy, but their efforts have faltered in recent matches, having drawn their last game against West Ham.

With only three weeks left to complete the 2023/24 EPL season, the Gunners, also nicknamed 'the elephants,' currently sit atop the table with 80 points, having played a total of 35 matches. They have three matches remaining.

The reigning champions of the 2022/23 EPL season, Manchester City, closely follow in second place with a total of 79 points.

Pep Guardiola's side, however, has played fewer matches as they still have four matches to play. This means they could surpass Arsenal if they win all their remaining matches.

Liverpool has won only one out of their last five Premier League matches, results that have seen them drop to third place with 75 points. They have three matches left to play.

Arsenal will face Bournemouth in their next match at the Emirates Stadium before traveling to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United, and then playing against Everton at home in their final match.

On the other hand, Manchester City will face Wolves at the Etihad Stadium in their next match before meeting Fulham and Tottenham Hotspur away, and finally playing against West Ham in their last match.

Meanwhile, Liverpool will play against Tottenham next before facing Aston Villa and Wolves in their final match.

At the bottom of the table, the battle to remain in the EPL is also fierce with Sheffield United already relegated.

Nottingham (26 points), Luton Town (25 points), and Burnley (24 points) are all fighting to see who will survive relegation, with all three still having three matches to play.
