Kate Actress awarded the Order of the Grand Warrior of Kenya by President Ruto

Internationally acclaimed Kenyan actress Catherine Kamau Karanja popularly known as Kate actress is over the moon following being bestowed with  a presidential award from the 5th serving President of the Republic of Kenya.

The mother of two during this years Jamuhuri Day (a national day set aside to celebrate when Kenya got its independence from British colonisers) got awarded the Order of the Grand Warrior by President William Ruto as Kenya turned 60 and she couldn't keep her calm.

Who would anyway? 

Sharing images of her ecstatic self wearing the medal, Kate couldn't stop gushing as she gave praise to God.

"CATHERINE KAMAU OGW ! (Order of the Grand Warrior of Kenya )!" Excitedly started off the veteran actress.

She went on to add; 

"HEAD OF STATE COMMENDATION from his excellency the president Dr. William Samoei Ruto. 🇰🇪 Won’t he do it 🥹🙏🏽,"

The O.G.W is an award presented to individuals in recognition of an outstanding service rendered to the country in different responsibilities and capacities. More importantly, it is an award presented to those who put their lives at risk to save their fellow countrymen.

Recipients of the O.G.W are those who leave a lasting image on their fellow countrymen by putting their country first before their personal feelings and interests.
