Poll-Most Kenyans prefer meeting partners in Church

This view is stronger with people who are aged 35 years and above.

According to a Radio Africa Group survey, 39% of Kenyans said they would rather meet their partners in churches.

Those over 35 seem to share this opinion more strongly.

At 44% versus 35%, ladies are more likely than males to believe in finding mates in the church.

According to the 'Kenya National Social Research 2023' poll, 34% of respondents said they would rather meet their partners during social gatherings.

32% of women and 35% of men agree that people should meet their partners in social gatherings.

The age range of participants who consent to the social events meet-ups is 18 to 34 years old.

Nonetheless, 4% of respondents said they would rather meet their spouses at work, and 15% of participants said they would rather meet their partners through friends and family.

Approximately 4% of the respondents said they would rather meet their partners in restaurants and bars.

Public transit and dating apps come in at 2% each.

More men than women, according to the study, which was done between June 29 and July 11, 2023, prefer to meet their partners through friends and relatives.

The survey, which included 3,000 participants, had a margin error of +/- 1.8% with a confidence level of 95%.
