Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu is currently a trending topic on X App formally known as Twitter.
Nyamu became a topic of discussion on the App following the virality of her photos with Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua aka Riggy G.
The two leaders were among prominent figures who graced Mathira MP Eric Wamumbi and Murang’a County Woman Representative Betty Maina’s lavish wedding in Kangare, Murang'a county.
Later, Nyamu shared photos on her socials where she could be seen having a dance with Riggy G. The viral photos have elicited mixed reactions from Netizens, with everyone trying hard to make his or her opinion heard hence making Nyamu a trending topic.
At the said wedding, DP Gachagua was spotted dancing with different people among them; Karen Nyamu, MP Naisula Lesuuda, Purity Ngirici, Governor Ann Waiguru, and Governor Cecil Mbarire.
President William Ruto was the chief guest at the colorful traditional wedding that went down on Saturday.
Leaders across the political divide came together to celebrate love in Kangare, Murang'a County.
The two UDA leaders fell in love during the campaign period before the August 2022 elections.
Giving his congratulatory message, the Head of State wished them a lifetime of happiness.
"Congratulations, Betty and Eric, on your union. May your journey be filled with love, joy, and countless shared moments. I wish you a lifetime of happiness that continues to grow stronger with each passing day, Kangare," Ruto said.
Karen Nyamu’s baby daddy Samidoh was among the musicians who also entertained guests present at the Traditional wedding (Ruracio).
