DJ Krowbar has shared with Kenyans a glimpse of his ailing wife as well as an update on her health.
The veteran entertainer through his official TikTok page shared a video of his wife's hospital bed as he highlighted how seeing her in a life support machine completely broke something inside him.
Krowbar's wife, Wanjiru Karumba, has been battling kidney failure. The TV host announced this a while back as he pleaded with Kenyans to help him raise money for her medical needs.
In the said video, the renowned gospel mix master went on to reveal that before then he had taken so many pictures and videos of his ailing wife but he hadn't felt comfortable sharing them on social media.
Captioning the video Krowbar wrote;
"I have taken so many videos and photos of my wife and not having the courage to post or share them. Seeing my wife on this life-saving machine for all this time does something to you..." started off the father of three.
He went on to add that through it all his faith in God had not been altered. He excited fans by noting that soon his wife's suffering was coming to an end as Wanjiru was recuperating well.
"Truth is God has been faithful. Getting to this point where the end is on sight is a HUGE MIRACLE to us!" The last of his post read.
At the end of the video, Krowbar had a little surprise for his multitude of fans and well-wishers. As it came to an end, he showed off his wife seated on the hospital bed looking radiant as she slowly ate an apple.
Wanjiru shared a smile and posed for the camera as her husband leaned in to plant a kiss on her.
Netizens flocked to the comment section to share words of love, affirmation, and well-wishes praising the couple for their strength and resilience.
Wanjiru was diagnosed with kidney failure 2 years ago and has been battling this ever since then.
