Why we stay in relationships with jobless guys- Women

During  today’s morning conversation,  Maina and Mwalimu King’ang’i  asked their fans why they never leave toxic relationships/marriages.

The  show was inspired by yesterday’s conversation when a caller said she’d been with a man for 5 years, yet he was jobless.

She had now decided it was enough and that she needed to walk away.

Mwalimu wanted to understand what exactly keeps the women staying yet the guy is jobless, homeless and moneyless.

“Mbona uko hapo na huyu jamaa ni jobless, moneyless and homeless,kwanza very moneyless.”

A caller from Germany had this to say.

"I used to date a guy and I was the support system I gave him money. Every time he wanted money, I used to provide there was a time he called me while I was still working in Dubai, I said I don’t have money imagine this guy told me to go be a sex worker and because I loved him, I did then gave him the money. One day when we were going clubbing a woman sat on his lap and he didn’t react to my presence I decided enough was enough and walked away."

Another added.

“That Abdallah confuses people, a woman can decide to stay with a man. Aman used to beat me all the time and I would always stay with him and still give him all my money and I’ll get beaten up again.Maina lemme tell you, ukienda Kibira utapata wamama wakona pesa wanatafuta  wavulana hawana pesa wakae na wao.”

The duo finished their show by thanking their loyal listeners and wishing them a lovely weekend ahead.
