The comedian isn't taking in any criticism he doesn't see has a valid stance.

Recently, comedian Blessed Njugush and fellow comic Oga Obinna sat together on his show and had a lively discussion.

The two discussed a number of important subjects, including the recent criticism the father of two has received for his comedic approach.

The former actor from The Real Housewives of Kawangware provided a nuanced opinion about how he responds to public criticism, telling Obinna that he evaluated the effectiveness of said criticism.

"A cow cannot take criticism from a dog, an elephant cannot take criticism from a fish, This is the point, I take criticism..." he started.

He then went on to say that he wouldn't implement any proposals that had no likelihood of improving the success of his show.

"Like an example...I changed a lot of things from TNTT 1. For example, people said we want Wakavinye more on stage, those are people who said.

So we've been gradually adding her time on stage, so I listen to such criticsm. But not the one of, 'Hii inawork wacha!' Tunataka hii reowork hapa nje na haikuwork huku nje uifanye."

Njugush's daring declaration comes as he is being criticised by some Kenyans and even renowned rapper Jua Cali, who claimed he didn't find his approach amusing.

His successful Australian tour and this issue happened at the same time. The reviewers felt that he could have added more humour to his act.

Jua Cali took the brunt of the criticism from the comedian's devoted followers as they fired back at the naysayers. Even other celebrities who work with him frequently, such as Abel Mutua and Kate Actress, defended him, which prompted the veteran rapper to apologise.

Whatever the case, Njugush will unquestionably improve as a result of this criticism. You become stronger by what doesn't kill you.
