Nigerian songstress Ayra Starr landed in Kenya on Wednesday night ahead of the much-anticipated ‘Shoke Shoke' Festival at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre(KICC), Nairobi.

Upon landing in Nairobi, Ayra Starr called upon her Kenyan fans to show up in large numbers.

The Rush hitmaker will be performing at the festival that has been scheduled to take place on the 3rd and 4th of March 2023.

She will be headlining the Festival alongside award-winning rapper Khaligraph Jones, Mejja, The OnlyRosa, and Boutruoss.

On the decks, it will be DJ CNG x Cream, DJ Shwan, Lordwin, Storm, and Kaneda, with Shaffie Weru as the host.

The 'Shoke Shoke' Fest is an initiative by MNE (Mwanaume Ni Effort).

This will be the first-ever sustainable music festival whose aim is to educate the youth on the importance of going green.

The festival is the first of its kind in Nairobi whose aim is to drive behavior change among its target audience to ensure that the environment we live in remains sustainable.

Shoke is the sheng word for Kesho. It is kesho flipped and the festival aims to flip the narrative for tomorrow by acting today.
