Comedian Njugush had to delete a video advert he had posted on Twitter and Instagram after being savaged by his fans.

Njugush had uploaded a video while at a high school promoting a local bank, but his content was received negatively by his fans who took to Twitter and began to attack him with strong insults.

But not even the love people have for Baba Tugi could help salvage the growing rage the public has towards the bank.

In the said video, the comedian while in Meru County was seen dressed in school uniform as he highlighted the convenience of paying school fees through Equity Bank. He also praised the bank for providing a stress-free experience.

However, there are some who downloaded it before deleting it and used it to attack him while saying that he was wrong to push that content.

However, KOT did not give him a chance and focused on the comment piece until he shut it down.

"With more than 2.1 million followers, this is the first time in a long time that his post has failed to reach even one thousand likes," said one.

"Njugush quickly deleted the comedy video and followed it with comedy posts to wash the announcement but it didn't work," said another.

The comedian has not yet made any statement about what happened on  but the attacks against him continue to haunt him, many seeming to throw words at him for what they said he tried to wash away the bank's mistakes for their customers.
