Reactions as Millicent Omanga unveils lavish Range Rover

Former nominated Senator Millicent Omanga caused a stir on social media by unveiling a brand-new Range Rover, claiming it as her latest acquisition.

Omanga shared photos of the vehicle on X from an undisclosed location, expressing gratitude to God for the achievement.

"My new baby. Date of Birth, 2024. Ni God," she captioned the post.

The announcement triggered a range of reactions from X users, including admiration and criticism.

Some praised Omanga's display of the expensive vehicle, applauding her hard work and success.

"Millicent Omanga just bought herself a new Range Rover. Ni God siku zote," commented Samwel Wekesa.

Others questioned the source of Omanga's funds for purchasing the luxury car.

"Millicent Omanga alitoa wapi pesa ya kununua gari with zero mileage?" queried Allan Obare.

Omanga, previously appointed as a Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) in the Interior docket before a court ruling deemed the positions unconstitutional, faced criticism and skepticism regarding her acquisition of the vehicle.

Despite the controversy, members of parliament have proposed legislation to institutionalize CAS positions, following a recent bill passed by Parliament.
