A 43-year-old woman in Kakamega county continues to be questioned by the police after her husband was attacked for allegedly marrying a second wife.

According to available information, the woman attacked her husband and bit his mouth before setting the house on fire for allegedly having a second wife.

She then run off to the nearby Ematiha Police Station, claiming that it was her husband who attacked her.

The police would then arrest the man before receiving contrasting information about what happened from the woman's son and neighbours.

According to family members, the man married his second wife after discovering that the first wife was having an affair with his brother.

This is happening just one day after another woman also attacked her boyfriend in the small town of Keroka, Kisii county, and bit his ear off before running away.

The police said that the two lovers who are studying at Keroka Polytechnic went to a bar to have fun with the man returning home before her.

The woman arrived later and that was the beginning of a fight between them, leading the beautiful woman to bite of her husband's ear before running away.

The police said that a manhunt had been launched against her, while the bitten ear had not been found.

Confirming the incident, Navakholo OCPD Richard Omanga said the woman is in police custody awaiting a court appearance.
