Why Vanessa Mdee is not revealing her son’s face soon

Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee and her husband Nigerian American actor Rotimi have explained why they have decided not to show their baby’s face on social media ever.

Rotimi and Mdee have posted several photos of their son on social media but are always careful to hide his face.
Speaking on Instagram live, Mdee said that they decided not to expose their son’s face on social media despite them being celebrities.

“We are celebrities but our child never chose that. He never chose that life and it comes with a lot of things. We are giving him a chance to know himself.

He is a young man. Let him grow up. It’s not like we are hiding him, You all know that he is there. He is our baby, he is our heart,” Vanessa said.
When announcing the birth of their son, Rotimi revealed his son’s name was Adeoluwa Seven, meaning God’s crown
Vanessa also gave reasons why they named him Seven.
“In the Bible, the number seven is very important, it’s the number of completion. It’s God’s number of completion.

This child signifies that to me and my husband. He is our completion and he’s a blessing from God. A true blessing.”

Vanessa and Rotimi met in July 2019 at Essence Festival in the US. She later relocated during the Covid-19 lockdown in 2020.
Rotimi proposed to Mdee in December 2020 after a year of dating..
The two lovebirds were blessed with their first child together in September last year.
