Kenyan musician and entrepreneur Esther Akoth, better known as Akothee will speak her mind, whenever, wherever and to whoever.
The mother of 5 has a bone to pick and it is with a section of the male gender who has been sending her unwanted se*ually perverse images.
The singer complained on her social media page about men sending her photos of their private parts. The 40-year-old hinted that it wasn’t the first time that it was happening.
The tall dark-skinned lady went hard at the men shunning the behaviour writing, ”Please guys, stop sending me those ‘ugly’ organs in my inbox. It’s disrespectful to just send a 👁👁. I didn’t know men do send nudes too. Eeeeee. I am afraid of reading or opening DMs now, lest I meet dem.”
For the lady who has over 2.7 Million followers, it must be a certain headache for her dealing with the many DM’s she must be getting.
Sexting or sending obscene messages could land you in prison. Christopher Wambua from the Communications Authority of Kenya says sexting is an offense and you can be fined up to 50,000 shillings or be jailed for not more than 3 months.
Also, under Article 28 of The Cyber Security and Protection Bill 2016, a person who is caught sharing n*de photos of others on the Internet will be sentenced to upto 30 years in prison or fined upto Sh300,000 or both.
