Eric Omondi's Team Sisi kwa Sisi campaign was inspired by the current situation in Kenya, aiming to uplift vulnerable individuals and communities.

His foundation has started a fundraising campaign for Kennedy Onyango, the young boy who died after being shot eight times by the police in Ongata Rongai.

Eric posted on his Instagram and even went live on Facebook to conduct the fundraising in honour of the child.

"This is Kennedy Onyango. The 12-year-old boy who was shot 8 times in the back and died on the spot. I just spoke to the Mother and she is totally Broken and in utter DISMAY. We are going to Celebrate Kennedy as A Hero!!! We are going to remember him as a Martyr of the Final Struggle.''

Besides that, Sisi kwa Sisi has helped several Kenyans who have been having trouble in one way or another.

Eric Omondi revealed that in just seven months, the initiative has helped over 68 people and raised an impressive sum of Sh72,000 million.

They pick one case at a time, focusing on dire needs and rallying support from fellow Kenyans.

Celebrity Miracle Baby is also among the Kenyans who benefited from the initiative when his health was deteriorating

He had undergone three intestinal surgeries and was kept in the hospital not discharged due to pending bills.

Eric Omondi came through for him by holding a fundraiser to settle his hospital bills.

''Hey guys, TEAM SISI KWA SISI. Our Brother Miracle Baby has gone through a lot. He has had 3 Surgeries of the Intestines. He has been Discharged but he has been here for two Months because of pending Bills.''

The comedian actively participated in the funeral proceedings, including helping to carry the coffins to the gravesites.

In early January, a video of a small schoolgirl crossing a raging river on a ramshackle bridge went viral.

Omondi was moved by this and rallied Kenyans on social media to support the construction of a modern footbridge.

The bridge, known as the Kemunto Bridge, was built through the Sisi kwa Sisi initiative. It replaced the unsafe wooden bridge that posed a danger to villagers in Nyakumbati Village, Kisii County.
