Njambi Koikai's family appeals for financial help to clear hospital bills

Her sudden death has left her family struggling with emotional and financial challenges.

The family of late Reggae MC and media personality Mary Njambi aka Fyah Mummah is appealing to well-wishers for help to pay her hospital bills and organise her funeral.

Jahmby who was known for her vibrant screen presence and love for reggae music, tragically passed away on Monday while receiving treatment at Nairobi Hospital.

She was suffering from endometriosis which she announced on her social media platforms when she was heading for surgery.

Her sudden death has left her family struggling with emotional and financial challenges.

Senator Gloria Orwoba posted on her social media to rally support from the public. She urged Kenyans to lend a helping hand at this difficult time.

“Njambi has rested. As we all come to terms with this, the family needs all our support,” Senator Orwoba said.

In her heartfelt appeal, Senator Orwoba stated that any contribution, no matter the quantity would be valuable to Njambi’s family.

She provided details of how individuals could contribute and urged them to send their donations to Barbara, providing her contact details.

“As the family prepares to say goodbye, let’s give our Endo warrior a memorable send-off,” Senator Orwoba added.

Njamby had been bravely battling stage IV endometriosis for over two decades.

The disease caused her great suffering, including 12 lung collapses and damage to critical organs such as her lungs, bowel, and diaphragm, leading to numerous painful surgeries.

In the wake of her untimely passing, Kenyans are still sending condolences to Jahmby’s family and close friends.
