Miss Trudy savaged by Ugandans after recent comment

Ugandans are upset with content creator Miss Trudy after she stated that she was shocked that the Pearl of Africa has a game drive.

In a post she shared on Twitter while on a game drive in Uganda, the content creator expressed her amusement that Uganda had a game drive.

She also stated that she thought game drives were only available in Kenya and Tanzania.

"Uganda has surprised me today! I did not know they also have game drive in Uganda! I thought that these are only in Kenya & Tanzania We spent the evening watching Antelopes, Giraffes, zebras, warthogs, waterbucks, and Hippos. Who would have thought?"

platforms.In response to her post, Ugandans were outraged that Trudy thought so little of their country because she was a travel vlogger.

They claim that because she has been in the vlogging game for a while, they expected her to do better and do her research in their country before sharing her views. 

Others thought her husband, Wode Maya, should teach her how to see and paint Africa in good light because he claims that his stories tell our story in an African way with the goal of changing the continent's negative narrative imposed by the colonialists.

Wode Maya is a YouTuber and freelance vlogger and has one of Africa's largest YouTube pages.

In September 2022, the two tied the knot in a simple wedding ceremony in western Kenya.
