Ahmed Khalid is counting his blessings after missing the Ethiopian ET 302 flight, in which 157 people died.
According to TRT World Ahmed missed the flight following a delay on his Dubai-Addis connecting flight.
He had to wait for the second flight from Bole International Airport which arrived at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport a day after the tragic accident.
It was a blessing in disguise for Kenyan Ahmed Khalid to miss an Ethiopian Airlines flight bound for Nairobi from Bole International Airport, Addis Ababa, on Sunday, March 10.

Speaking about his narrow escape from the jaws of death he says
“Because of the delay from Dubai, I missed the first flight [to Nairobi]… one passenger saw on his mobile the first plane which had just flew, like six minutes after it flew, it just crashed”
On the morning of Monday March 11, morning, Khalid landed safely at JKIA and was received by his joyful family members eagerly waiting for the arrival of their son.
