The Safaricom International Jazz Festival in photos

The Safaricom Jazz festival is one of the biggest events of the year and this year’s was not any different. According to the Safaricom Jazz website the festival was an exciting one week multi-venue music and cultural event set to showcase the best in emerging and acclaimed talent in Africa and beyond with the final concert culminating at Ngong Race Course.

Jonathan Butler (you can listen to his interview HERE when he visited our studios) was headlining this year’s amazing festival among other great acts including saxophonist Soweto Kinch, Belgian act Rhythm Junks, Eddie Grey, Kunle Ayo, The Aaron Rimbui Quintet, Jimmy Dludlu, The Nile Project, Richard Bona and Yuval Cohen.

Celebrities turned up in numbers including the Elani ladies, Jimmy Gathu, Mumbi Kaigwa and Juliani who was teaching Safaricom CEO, BobCollymore a few moves. In case you missed it check out the photos below;
