Former TV girl TerryAnne Chebet is doing great after being fired unceremoniously from Citizen TV in 2016.
The mother of two was among the 80 employees, who were shown the door by the Royal Media Services and for the first time, she has spoken about losing her job.
In a recent interview at Malkia Africa Production, TerryAnne Chebet confessed that losing her job while at the peak of her career humbled her and this helped her learn so many lessons that she would not have learnt.
While at CItizen TV, she was among the media personalities who were doing a great job and upto now she can’t understand why she was axed yet she believes she was doing a good job. She said;
THE DIP THAT I HAD WHEN I LOST MY JOB COULD HAVE BEEN A MOMENT OF DESPAIR. YOU KNOW LIKE SO WHAT NEXT? I WAS AT MY PRIME. I HAD DONE A GOOD JOB, IT HAPPENED AND IT HAD TO HAPPEN.
WHEN I LOOK BACK I’M LIKE IT WAS NECESSARY BECAUSE THERE WERE SOME LESSONS THAT I NEEDED TO LEARN AND IF THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN I WOULDN’T BE WHERE I AM TODAY. IN RETROSPECT, IT WAS NECESSARY EVEN THOUGH I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN.
She later picked herself up and she’s now the Chief Executive Officer of Fanaka Television and her flashy lifestyle is a clear indication that she’s taking millions home at the end of the day.
