Kenyan women have been put on the spot for not being supportive of their fellow women after a section of them criticised Martha Karua.
Some women had gone online to criticise Martha Karua over her dressing after she was selected as Azimio’s Deputy President candidate.
Speaking during the Morning show, Mwalimu King’angi expressed his disappointment at women saying,
“Ati ooh hiyo nguo alivaa iko aje? Hizo kucha zinakaa aje? If women would just work together they would go so far. Why can’t they celebrate each other?“
Below are some of the reactions as to why women rarely support or celebrate one of their own;
Lydiakalekye3: That’s nonsense. She’s a woman of integrity. Those saying that wanafikiria about makeup and mtumba as if that will lead this nation to freedom from a million bondage of uncertainties and economic instability.

Today she’s being celebrated. Huwezi pendwa na kila mtu but that shouldn’t be a reason for haters hating on her.

Ritah Mercy: Even men hates each other, just because their hatred is not as louder as for women doesn’t mean, they got no hatred to each other.
Mary Marirs: No am always very happy when my lady friends wameomoka because they have always been there for me in time of need.Napenda wamama tu saana.You are my running mates.
