Kenyan Rapper On A Mission To Quench Nation’s Thirst

Known for his lyrical prowess and his outstanding performances, Kenya’s top rapper Octopizzo, has for a while now been involved in charitable projects, whenever he’s off his microphone.

The self proclaimed ‘Kibera’s finest’ has been working with his “German friends” as a water and sanitation ambassador in Kenya, where he’s been actively involved in digging boreholes in arid and semi-arid areas.

The ‘Ivo Ivo’ hit maker has always been vocal about his initiative; notably on social media whenever it comes to breaking the news about his forthcoming projects.

Fresh from Laibara village in Bisil Kajiado, Octopizzo’s next step will be Makindu in Makueni county, as he indicated on his facebook page:

“With the Strongest Women in this planet from #Laibara Village in Bisil Kajiado County. Now heading to Makindu in Makueni County.
Water and sanitation has not had the same kind of champion that global health, and even education, have had. No innovation in the past 200 years has done more to save lives and improve health
than the sanitation revolution triggered by invention of the toilet. But it did not go far enough. It only reached one-third of the world.
The most essential thing is clean water and sanitation everywhere.
