I won’t kill myself or quit music because of a break-up – Juma Jux states about exes

Juma Jux and Vanessa Mdee were the Tanzanian power couple not named Diamond and (whoever he was dating at the time) for eons in Tanzania.

The couple split up last year to the shock of many considering the period of time they had been together and the public declarations of love they had shown each other prior to the split.

Juma then quickly moved on to a white babe, a relationship that didn’t last. Although he rarely speaks about Vanessa, the man who spent a lot of time with her, still has some thoughts about her.

Vanessa Mdee was a huge influence – Juma Jux tells Maina about new album

Thoughts he revealed recently when he was interviewed by Wasafi media. The singer said that Vanessa made a huge mistake quitting her career, saying that he can never give up his career because of music as nothing in life is permanent.

“Don’t let your life depend on someone. Love someone but don’t make it as through, if she/he is not there. Everything goes wrong, no. There are second chances in life. Vanessa and I separated, I got into a relationship that was I was happy and now she is in a relationship. And that’s how life is. Right now, I can’t say because of that, I will kill myself or leave music no. Because of love? No. I can’t do that.”

Juma Jux

In his interview, one can infer that he might have already become jaded about love. The interview comes a few months after Vanessa broke the internet with the news that she leaving the music industry.

Her announcement comes after Vanessa started Hollywood TV star Rotimi with the two looking so serious like they might be taking the next step in their relationship.

“I will not be bullied on social media; I will not be that person Wanahabari wataandika kitu juu yangu alafu nitabaki kimya. Team yangu ya social media, imenijuza kuhusu comments kutokana na watu kusema kuwa Rotimi ananipiga, ati ni mtu ambaye anapiga wanawake.Number one, that is so far from the truth, sio ukweli na ni kitu ambacho kinaweza kuharibu sifa heshima ya Mwanaume au Mwanamke, especially when it’s not true.” Vanessa ranted

Adding that when Rotimi’s ex spoke on being in an abusive relationship she was not referring to him but another ex. So nataka ku-clarify kitu kabla sijaendelea, imetokana na post ambayo ameandika ex-wake Rotimi. Ex wake Rotimi alikuwa anamzungumzia Ex-wake mwingine sio Rotimi na ameweka Wazi kuwa sio Rotimi anayemzungumzia. So yeye aliandika blog post zamani akimzungumzia Ex-wake sio Rotimi akisema yakwamba alikuwa na mipango na yeye na vitu vingi. Ms. Mdee aka Vee Money ended her rant from warning the media against purporting she is not safe on the relationship with Rotimi.

Top music producer Tim Rimbui reveals that he and wife of many years have separated

“So please Negative media, I’m not the one and I’m not going to be bullied by you anymore. So kama unaona kuna kitu ambacho unataka kuzungumza and you don’t have hard facts, please am ready to sue anyone and I’m going to sue anyone or media ambayo inaandika uongo kunihusu mimi ama Familia yangu au mpenzi wangu, tumechoka haipendezi. It’s not Okay. Am not going to be bullied by media. So please let’s not do that, don’t spoil someone’s hard earned beautiful reputation.” She added

I agree with Vanessa Mdee that the music industry is demonic-Singer Vivianne

Vanessa Mdee shook many in the entertainment industry by surprise when she not only announced that she was quitting but also gave her reasons for it.

The singer stated that she was leaving an industry she had been for more than a decade because it was demonic and was very hypocritical.

Vanessa Mdee in black and white

Vanessa attested to the fact that she had even fallen into depression and become an alcoholic over the same. Barely a week after her revelation, the singer has been backed by her Kenyan counterpart Vivianne who came out to congratulate Vanessa on her resilient nature.

In a long Instagram post the musician who is married to Sam West started by praising Vanessa, saying;

This is an old pic of Vanessa Mdee and I.
Truth is she is a ball of fire and one of the best entertainers’ hands down. I saw some news about her in a blog and got to listen to one of her podcasts #deepdive.. I know for sure everyone has their own unique journey but as much as possible we have to be able to stand in solidarity when it comes to the truth.

Vivianne smiling

She added that she agreed wholly with what Vanessa described in her years in the industry;

“I love to make music but the pressure and the hypocrisy will drive you into depression or substance abuse that’s for sure.. In my own capacity as Vivian the lack of truth and lack of love that is characteristic in our entertainment system is demonic. And I appreciate @vanessamdee very much for being vulnerable and honest about her journey.”

She finished off by urging other female musicians to stand together to help one another in the cut-throat business.

“And if nothing else gets heard I’d like to appeal, especially to my female counterparts in entertainment to extend grace to one another and be ambassadors of truth and love,” Vivianne wrote.

Vanessa Mdee comes clean after pregnancy rumours swirl

Vanessa Mdee broke the internet last week when she went on a revelatory turn with her numerous Instagram fans and followers.

Among some of the secrets the “Me and You” singer dropped about herself was that she had been depressed during her career and had, as a result, turned to alcohol as a salve.

Vanessa Mdee in black and white

As if that wasn’t enough, the musician dropped the bombshell that she would be quitting the music industry for the foreseeable future, saying that it was demonic.

“The reason why I had to leave the industry is because I needed to choose my life, the music industry is demonic. People will tell you half-truth about what really goes on, and the truth is I just wanna be an advocate for honesty and beauty and being a sincere advocate for what facing your demons can do for You,” she said in her podcast Deep Dive with Vanessa Mdee.

But what would the internet be without rumour-mongering and speculation? Some reports online are indicating that the real reason for her quitting so abruptly was that she was pregnant and expecting her first child with Nigerian-American boyfriend Rotimi.

This has even prompted some of her fans to question her on the claims.

During a live Question and Answer session with her fans on YouTube, Mdee was asked when the baby was due by a section of her fans and she responded saying that she is not yet pregnant.

And Mdee wasn’t taking anything to chance, even showing her flat belly to the fans, just to clear any doubts from the fans who would not believe her.
“Watu wanauliza vipi kuhusu mtoto. No, sina mimba bado. Not yet. But soon,” responded Vanessa Mdee.

I was depressed and an alcoholic – Vanessa Mdee narrates sad tale

Vanessa Mdee has been on a sharing vibe this past week and has been doing so on her podcast, Deep Dive with Vanessa Mdee. Don’t forget the singer quit singing so she has a lot of time to do other things.

Vanessa Mdee in black and white

The 32-year-old singer opened up about her struggles with alcoholism that affected her decision-making ability. The singer revealed her struggle with alcohol explaining that at one point she was living like a robot, saying that she wasn’t able to recognise herself anymore with depression setting in;

“I became a person of horrible choices. I COULDN’T´t recognize myself anymore because I woke up every day trying to just get by and I don´t want to just get by anymore.”

“More than ever, I had moments of anxiety and moments of depression. I had moments of I don´t know what to do next, because this pressure is unnatural for a human being. And what comes after that?”

Vanessa Mdee in denim

She added that like addicts before her she was very good at hiding her issues from the public but that she was living a lie.

“I hid it so well but I was depressed and an alcoholic. This is my truth and me letting you into this space because I don´t want to live a candy-coated life anymore.

I became a robot and I have no desire to be a robot or be unhappy anymore, because that´s what I was, unhappy. Had moments of ¨we are enjoying this¨, I had moments of ¨this is fun¨, moments of ¨this is a beautiful day¨.”

In a 29 minutes talk on her on Podcast “Deep Dive with Vanessa Mdee”, Vee Money further stated that she is on a mission to be an advocate for honesty, beauty and what facing your demons can do for you.

“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but my mission is to be a light. I know that I would probably disappoint a few people and that’s Okay, I know that my fans don’t wanna hear this but guess what am never be too far away from you, trust me. The reason why I had to leave the industry is because I needed to choose my life, the music industry is demonic. People will tell you half-truth about what really goes on, and the truth is I just wanna be an advocate for honesty and beauty and being a sincere advocate for what facing your demons can do for You.”

“Now my fans are probably asking themselves right now; Are you gonna never sing again? Are we gonna never see you perform? Let me reiterate, I love music, I love to create, I love to perform, I’m a vessel, this is what I was brought on earth to be, but maybe I was a vessel to be here in this moment to have gone through everything that I have gone through so that I can tell you most honestly the truth about things you will never somewhere else,” said Vanessa Mdee.

Ms Mdee also disclosed that there was a time she was depressed, a state that drove her into becoming an alcoholic who could drink herself to sleep but then found desire and passion for life.

She finished off by advising aspiring stars not to kill themselves for the American dream;

“Trust me I used to wake up every morning questioning what the hell is this about, why are we doing this again, a lot of people used to say to me but you are in America now, (I live in Atlanta now) and that is the Mega of Music you have the perfect opportunity, I’m gonna tell you this, and this is a note to my African stars and artistes out there, don’t chase the American dream there are too many Selinaa Gomezs out here, not yet even conceived and there is only just a few chances not to kill your dream but be great where you are, that’s the only way to do it. They will come to you, organically no body is really giving chances to Africans like that, it’s when you shine in your space, is when the chances will come to you. Don’t kill yourself chasing the American dream,” said Ms. Mdee.

What really led to the second breakup between Vanessa Mdee and Juma Jux

We have all been wondering what really happened after Juma Jux and Vanessa split up for a second time.

In a rare interview recently, Juma Jux has revealed one thing about his very painful breakup with Vanessa Mdee.

Their relationship was so public, but the breakup was so silent and painful that the two are not the ones who announced the breakup. Vannesa’s sister, Mimi Mars blurted it out in an interview.

The two served us couple goals on social media but Jux says this was the relationship in his life that was both sweet and sour.

My relationship with Vanessa Mdee was the best relationship that uplifted every part of my life and was the longest that I have ever had.

Jux went on to tell B-Dozen that the luckiest man is the one who will date and eventually marry Mdee.

He has moved on and has been sharing his moments with his new babe, Nayika all over his social media page.

Nayika is having the time of her life under the care and love of Juma Jux. They were on vacation and he announced that they did not want any phone calls, just texts.

Vanessa and Jux might have broken up but they have a hit song together, Sumaku which is a very beautiful song.

Why Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize will pay more for video vixen wigs

The Kenyan government has been kind to us girls and not added taxes for the beauty industry.

Sadly for our Tanzanian counterparts this is not the case.

They will have to dig deeper into their pockets to buy that wig or hair extension.

Both synthetic and human hair wigs can cost anywhere from $15 to over $1000.

While no Tanzanian celebrity has spoken out about this, we know several who wear wigs. From Wema Sepetu, to Hamisa Mobetto, Vanessa Mdee and Ray C, these are amongst women who will have to break the bank to slay.

The Tanzania government has proposed new taxes on wigs, drivers’ license fees, and sanitary towels in its new budget.

The Tanzanian minister for Planning and Finance Philpo Mpango read the budget in Parliament in a move highly supported by MP’s.

Wigs manufactured locally will now attract a tax of 10 percent while the imported ones will face a 25 per cent tax.

The minister also reinstated tax on sanitary pads because as he argues previous measures to exempt the items from taxes has not been passed down to consumers as businessmen continued to benefit from lower taxes.

Here are several reasons why wigs are expensive

1. The Hair Quality

The quality of hair which was made for human hair wigs determined 80% of the wig cost.

2. Use or no use of a Lace Cap

3. If it’s a frontal, full lace, density of wigs determine cost

Lace front wigs and 360 lace wigs both made by lace frontals (or 360 frontals) and hair bundles, so they are hand tied plus machine made, take less time than full lace wigs. If you want to make a full lace wig, it needs about 40 hours (working all the 40 hours), and also if you want single knot hairline and silk base, it will need more than three times as long. If you want 150% density even 180% density will need long time because the manufacturers must knot more hair on the lace cap.

4. human hair vs synthetic hair

Synthetic hair is much cheaper than human hair, it can be made very straight texture. Synthetic hair is pressed, cut and predesignated, it is very straight, not easy to change the style. But it is not human hair, it is not soft and smooth, even though it has gloss. I just learn about synthetic hair cannot make other styles which you want, it cannot make by hair curler, it is not controlled by heat.

What’s worse, human hair is natural so far than synthetic hair, and the lifespan is longer. Synthetic wigs can only last less than 3 months, but human hair wigs can last more than 1 year with proper care.

Making a human hair wig need to spend lots of money and energy, so the selling price is higher than other hair products.

The rapper’s mother has perhaps been his most consistent support system. Remember when Prezzo went live on TV while drunk and caused a scene? It was in early January 2017 with Betty Kyallo on the show Friday Briefing.

Betty’s ex-hubby Dennis Okari had taken to Twitter to console his darling, who had apparently been “assaulted” by the intoxicated artiste.

“I am really sorry babe @BettyOkari if what I am reading on the interweb is true. That kid didn’t deserve the stage,” “Ati Prezzo has done what? I’m not anywhere near a TV. Someone update me on what’s going on at Friday Briefing.”

Betty shared with her fans news that the star’s mum had reached out to her to apologize on his behalf.

To show how much he loves his mum, Prezzo recently hosted celebrity friends at his home. These pals included Timmy Dat, Shaffie Weru, Vanessa Mdee, Juma Jux, Habida and others.

Vanessa Mdee Does The Sweetest Thing For Her Ex Boyfriend Juma Jux

Vanessa Mdee and Juma Jux have been the talk of town for a pretty long time ever since it was revealed the two had finally parted ways.

Ever since the break up, Jux has not been addressing the matter, maybe because he can’t talk about it without feeling bad that it’s all over.

vanessa and jux

Well, Vanessa on the other hand has talked about it a number of times, as she also revealed that the two are still friends and she will always love him. This might sound weird to many, as people tend to loose touch with their exes because they don’t want to associate with them at all.

Jux has just released a brand new jam dubbed Utaniua, and from the reports doing rounds, it seems like he wrote this song for Vanessa. Vanessa too released a song dubbed Kisela ft Mr. P and it was pretty clear that she wrote the song for Jux after they parted ways.

In another interview, she revealed that she wrote the song with so much anger and she was literally crying when jotting down the words.

Anyway, back to the matter at hand. Vee Money took to social media to promote the song, jotting down a few words from the songs.

She said, “Uwanja wa mapenzi umechafuka nami sitaki kuufagia #Utaniua @juma_jux.”
