He is known for his work in the gospel industry and has worked with musicians to produce songs such as Lover by Bahati, Sari Sari by DK Kwenye Beat featuring Anto Neo Soul. He is also behind Me and My House by Eko Dydda, I Live For You by BMF, Manyunyu by Jimmy Gait and Rufftone.

Dear mafisilets poleni, it seems that Patrick Mbaru Kazungu may be off the market if the photos on his social media are anything to go by.

The soft spoken music producers partner is Wangari Munyua. The handsome music producer took to his Instagram page to break the news with a loving post.

Love is colourful.

As much as it is in black n white.
And most of all like chemistry, it consists of elements and compounds that when put together, even in not obvious of places, it will still be seen.
I’m glad that I can testify, if truely it is Devine then…
I present to you the connection that has managed to unplug the comfort zone.
If this is the epitome of a love story only told in dreams and fairy tales… Then we live in the reality.

The red roses and candles in the photo below tell he is a romantic guy. So sweet.

Rufftone Breaks The Silence About His Absence From The Music Scene

Rufftone has been in the music scene for over a decade now, since the ‘Mwikhulu’ and ‘Tsinyanga Tsiwere’ era. The gospel hotshot is recognized and respected for his energetic performances and as one of the pioneers of modern day Kenyan gospel music.

However, the musician has taken a long hiatus from music, something which has raised concern among his loyal fans. So what exactly is Rufftone up to?

Mr. Igi Igy, as he would like to call himself, is the eldest sibling from the Mwatia family, which also consists of fellow musicians Daddy Owen, Fidel and Sledge.

Rufftone who is the founder of Lamp Stand Records confirmed in an interview that he is on the verge of releasing a new album and urged his fans to be “patient and be ready for a super dynamic project”.

“Actually as we speak, am really tied up and my schedule has been hectic. ” Rufftone said. “I’m on set right now shooting a TV commercial, where am the main character. There are pretty big things in the pipeline that I am very excited about. ”

Interestingly enough, Rufftone was open enough to share what else he does whenever he finds extra minutes on his schedule. “I’m a Sunday school teacher, yeah I love dealing with the kids, I find pleasure whenever I am in front of the room and surrounded by kids who look up to you for advice and mentor-ship”

Rufftone’s Relationship Advice To The Young Couples

Gospel artist Roy Smith Mwatia better known as ‘Rufftone’ has offered some advice to newly wedded couples.

With the rising cases of infidelity and divorce, the award winning singer cum producer, himself newly married, says the institution of marriage should be respected and protected.

“As a true man, at times you have to let go of your pride and let your significant other take the lead in certain aspects of life.” he said in an interview on Friday. “Men should take an example from bullfighting techniques, a matador always holds the bull from it’s nose ring and he’s assured of safety. The same case should apply in our day to day lives in relationships, men as the bulls should humbly let their spouses hold them by the ‘nose ring’ by implementing their suggestions. ”

Rufftone, got married in late July this year to his long term  girlfriend Susan Njoki also known as Crystal.
