P Square’s Rudeboy explains what breaks music groups

Paul Okoye well known to many as Rudeboy was a member of the Nigerian group P Square together with his brother Peter Okoye aka Mr P. The two blood brothers broke up in 2018 over irreconcilable differences.

Since then, they have gone solo!

Talking to Uganda’s NBS over the weekend, the singer cited bad energy as the root cause many breakups.

“People tend to forget where they started from. Sometimes, fame could cause it, bad energy, money but if you value what you are doing, money can never be the issue. Bad energy brings the division”

Adding,

“Sometimes you might think its the leader of the group that is causing the problem. But he is the one is in charge but you cannot continue distracting him. When people break, the leader is the one that feels the pain.”

He then went on to advise other musical groups.

“If you are in a group, just pray. Bad energy is everywhere that could come and destroy you guys.”
