US President Barack Obama has a busy schedule during his two day historic Kenya visit. Obama who already made his opening remarks at the Global Entrepreneurship summit in Gigiri on Saturday morning and visited the Power African Innovation Fair has a list of scheduled activities for the rest of the day;
Below is a full list
12:05pm– The president meets with U.S. Embassy personnel
1:55pm – Barack Obama will visit Bomb blast Memorial Park in Nairobi where he will lay a wreath and pay tribute to all who lost their lives in the 1998 bomb blast that killed over 200 people.
2:20pm – President Uhuru Kenyatta welcomes President Obama to State House
2:50pm -He will hold a bilateral meeting with President Uhuru Kenyatta and discuss key issues with corruption and security expected to be some of the main issues on the agenda.
4:30pm – President Obama and Uhuru will hold a joint press conference to share some of the resolutions of their bilateral meeting.
8:15pm- President Obama will attend a State House dinner which is his last official function for Saturday.
On Sunday the US President will hold a press briefing with Press Secretary Josh Earnest before heading to Safaricom Indoor Arena for his public address at 11:40am
1:45pm- He will then head to Kenyatta University where he will meet civil society at the YALI Regional Leadership Center
3:05pm- The President will hold an interview with Capital FM Kenya at the Yali Leadership Center.
4:10pm- He is expected to head to JKIA where he will depart for Ethiopia.
6:00pm- The president arrives in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
6:35pm –President Obama will meet will U.S embassy personnel in Addis Ababa.
